While the basic Advanced GRN can be used be any PC or laptop connected to the network it can be enhanced by extending the system to allow input of data directly where the point of checking receipts is not near a convenient network PC.

• The addition of a wireless point to the network provides access of over 100 metres indoors and 400 metres outdoors.
• Details can be input with any handheld device with wireless capability, typically a PDA, laptop or tablet; the user screens are designed to be compatible with any of these units.
• The handheld device can optionally use a bar-code reader to assist data input.
• Microsoft Terminal Services provides for direct input over the Office wireless connection without any loss of speed or accuracy.
